Why is my SnowDogg controller blinking red light? ›

If the controller is blinking, the problem is electrical – not hydraulic. Do not spend time troubleshooting and cleaning valves if the controller is blinking. Use a test light to measure for +12V at coils and connectors. Use a multimeter/ohmmeter to measure for continuity.

FLASHING RED—A flashing red signal light means exactly the same as a stop sign: STOP! After stopping, proceed when safe and observe the right-of-way rules. RED ARROW—A red arrow means STOP until the green signal or green arrow appears. A turn may not be made against a red arrow.

A red light usually means your controller's battery is low. Plug your controller in for 2 hours to fully charge it. Hold the PS button to check if you're logged into a secondary account. If you are, select "Log Out of PS4" and select the primary.

We don't recommend ATF for use in our snowplows. ATF can hold moisture and can cause problems with the valves freezing and or frost build up on the pick-up screen of the pump. We recommend using a snowplow specific fluid like our HINIKER COLD FLOW oil which meets a military spec. of 5606.

Change Your Hydraulic Fluid. Just like cars needs oil changes, a plow needs its hydraulic fluid flushed and replaced on an annual basis.

Plow Position to Check Oil: The plow should be attached to the truck, setting flat on the ground, with both wings retracted. 7. With both wings retracted and the plow lowered to the ground, check the fluid level. Fluid should be visible in the external fill port.

Most modern plows will have a float mode which allows the plow to move up and down over bumpy or uneven terrain. Double-tap on the down button to put the blade into float mode. What does it mean when your controller flashes red? ›
